OOGLY BOOGLY
Oogly Boogly is an event, a performance, and a game. It is made with up to eight toddlers of 12–18 months & four performers, and takes place in a soft inflatable tent. It invites the very young and their parents/carers into a neutral space, free from toys or distractions, where performers follow and amplify the children’s spontaneous activity while the adults observe. Each session lasts around 45 minutes. Parents and carers stay in the space throughout, as the children get to grips with the fact that they are in the driving seat. In directing their own movement the babies interact with the performers, and an unpredictable but playful free-flow of conversational body language begins.

EXTENDED PROJECTS
University-style research projects by sixth form students? That’s what’s been happening at Farnborough Sixth Form College - one of the country’s largest and most successful sixth form colleges. In October last year 70 studentsÌýcompleted extended projects of 5000 words, and the following month they were presented with handsomely bound dissertations by no less a person than Sir Mike Tomlinson, former chief inspector of schools, who recommended strongly in his 14-19 report that students undertake an extended project.
