Challenge: YMCA a day

What age are you?

19

Where are you from?

South Shields in the North East of England.

I hope make your move will allow me to...

...be a bit more active and will be a fun alternative to my normal physiotherapy. It's much more fun than my normal physiotherapy!

I'm taking part in the YMCA challenge because it's so a good way to let loose while also exercising, think I'm going to laugh a lot while learning the moves!

I'm also hoping to gain some strength in my shoulders (like a strongman), which will enable me to push myself in my wheelchair for longer. Also I'm hoping to make new friends.

What is your motivational mantra?

Just Keep Rolling (because I'm a wheelchair user) or Fight Like a Warrior, I tell myself both of these to keep me fighting my illness.

Top 3 work out songs?

  1. Song Centuries by Fall Out Boy
  2. I lived by One Republics
  3. Welcome To The Queendom by Jacki O (it's also WWE's Stephanie McMahon's theme tune, hint I'm a giant wrestling fan and Stephanie McMahon is my Idol).

Give us 3 words to describe how you feel about your challenge

Excited. Nervous. Mischievous.

What challenge would you like to try next?

I would like to try the speed stacking challenge next. This will help with my dexterity and improve my hand to eye control.
