Help playing audio/video Swound, in one guise or another, have been around since the turn of the new millennium. But it's only since mid-2008 that the current line-up took shape. And what a line-up. Four brothers, Joe, Tom, Rowan and Lloyd Staszkiewicz, all living in Nottingham although originally hailing from the Isle of Man. Not coolBack in the early days Swound revealed their guilty pleasures. "We used to play Blink 182 covers," say the band referring to early concerts at the University of Nottingham. But now they're confident enough in their own material. Towards the end of 2008 they'll release an album, "Hello Future, Our Name Is Swound." "We've been going at it for a long time now and we just wanted something to say to people. This is what we've been working towards. We're all really pleased with it." The future's brightSwound have already played a gig in the Isle of Man supporting Madness and The Stranglers and have had their tracks played on Radio 1. They've also been to the 麻豆社's Maida Vale studios to record a session.
