The Swiines have formed out of two Nottingham bands: The Arcane and The Bets.

So how did it happen? Scott (Formerly of The Bets) says:

"I rang [Tom and Adi of The Arcane] up to help us out for a couple of gigs, not to join or start a new band, it was just for a jam to sort these gigs out..."

Tom adds: "We knew each other's bands and we knew what each other did musically. We had a lot of time for each other, so when me and Adi got a call from Scott..."

"Adi said 'NO'. The first time!" Taylor remarks.

"But now we hold hands and it's all nice." Says Adi.

The Swiines say their new songs have come out of jamming sessions. "It's just gelled so well," Tom says.

On stage they sound like an exciting prospect, if a little sodden, as Scott explains:

"It's a lot more visual now... Everyone's just rocking out on stage. We come off went through, our jeans are wet through!"
