Open source in the real world
Back at the Maker Faire, Simon meets Vinay Gupta, who has used the principles behind open source software - of collaboration and sharing - to create something physical: a foldable building which he hopes could be useful for disaster relief and refugee housing.Ìý And Simon asks whether open source ideals will become more common asÌýa way to find answers to real world problems.
