Ceiling fixer and partitioner, Bernard Morley was brought in to Salford City FC alongside fellow Ramsbottom United manager Anthony Johnson following the departure of Phil Power.
A former footballer, Bernard played for Clitheroe FC and Ramsbottom United before being forced to retire at an early age due to injury. The management duo delivered two promotions in six years at Ramsbottom. Bernard relishes the pressure of his managerial skills being in the limelight and understands the pressure which comes with the Class of '92’s backing.
He notes his most surreal experience as the pre-season friendly with Portuguese giants, Benfica FC at England’s training headquarters at St George’s Park.
Bernard is engaged to his fiancé Gemma and has two children aged 12 and three.
