34-year-old Gareth is one of Salford City’s star strikers and a part time model.
Scouted at age 11, Gareth played at Blackburn Rovers until he left school at 16 when he went on to play for Kettering Town, Fleetwood Town and Chester FC.
A phone call from Gary Neville led to him joining Salford City in order to score the goals to help them secure promotion. Willing to take a gamble to play alongside his footballing heroes, Gareth dropped down four leagues.
Self-confessed clown, Gareth thrives off the banter and camaraderie of the dressing room and his ability to make people laugh alongside his obsession for scoring goals. He lives with his girlfriend Melissa.
