Listen to Manic Street Preachers' Nicky Wire and Sean Moore talking about their track Peeled Apples - one of the 10 songs that mean most to the band.

"A reintroduction to the genius of Richey's lyrics," says Nicky Wire of Manic Street Preachers' use of the missing guitarist's notebooks for Journal For Plague Lovers.

Recorded with legendary producer Steve Albini, the sessions resulted in a caustic, hard listen that many regard as the sister to The Holy Bible. No singles were released from it, but Peeled Apples stands out for the band.
