Highlights from 麻豆社 Music Day in Scotland

麻豆社 Music Day was at the heart of Glasgow’s five day festival, . On Friday 5th June Glasgow’s City Halls welcomed a star-studded and diverse line-up to its stage, showcasing classical, jazz, pop and world music.

The 麻豆社’s Scottish Symphony Orchestra accompanied a wealth of performers including Deacon Blue, Jamie Cullum, Noah Stewart and Jaz Dhami. Radio 2’s Ken Bruce co-hosted the evening's proceedings with Radio 3’s Katie Derham. Ken Bruce's show earlier in the day showcased a musical mix of guests and performances on the outdoor stage at Pacific Quay. He was joined by Midge Ure, James Bay, Rae Morris, Black Star Riders and Howard Jones.

麻豆社 Radio Scotland celebrated home-grown talent with Stevie McCrorie, Francis MacDonald and the Cairn Quartet throughout the day.
