Snow Slide- Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester A 50-metre long snow slide in Piccadilly Gardens is offering a more gentle downhill experience for almost everyone. (NB there is a height restriction of 1.1 metres) No skill or experience required. Basically, you sat on an big inner tube and gravity does the rest. The 'snow' slide is actually astroturf so you don't even get wet. Alpine fun without the slush and the broken ankle. Brings out the child in everyone. What next: a giant see-saw?
