Â鶹Éç SINGERS PLUS FAMILY: Spem in alium

Â鶹Éç SINGERS PLUS FAMILY is a series of free interactive, family-friendly workshops which introduce the music of the Â鶹Éç Singers concerts at Milton Court, including a £5 ticket offer (plus booking fee*) for the evening concert.

If you’ve ever sung in a choir, you might have performed music divided up into four parts, each singing a different note to make harmony. Imagine what it would sound like if the music were written not for four parts, but for 40! Tallis’s Spem in alium is an incredible work that surrounds you with a thick wall of sound. There are lots of other treats, too – both old and new – in this amazing concert by the Â鶹Éç Singers, who are joined by cellist Nicholas Altstaedt for Carl Vine’s stunning work for cello and electronics.
