From the buzzsaw guitars of 鈥楪eneration Terrorists鈥� to their commercial breakthrough 鈥楨verything Must Go鈥� via the unrelenting nihilism of 鈥楾he Holy Bible鈥� and 2010鈥檚 euphoric 鈥楶ostcards From A Young Man鈥�, the Manics have constantly reinvented themselves, finding new ways to fuse their emotive, intelligent lyrics with powerful tunes. Frontman James has also recently turned 6 Music DJ, sitting in for Stuart Maconie on the Freak Zone. Returning after a two year break from live shows, and promising hits from their vast back catalogue as well as brand new material from their eleventh album 鈥楻ewind The Film鈥�, their Maida Vale show should be very special indeed.
