Last night saw the broadcast of Start Something: The Story of South Wales Rock, Bethan Elfyn's examination of the South Wales rock scene and its origins in the economically-depressed Valleys areas.

You can listen again to Start Something for the next seven days.

Featuring contributions from Lostprophets, The Blackout, Kids In Glass Houses and Dirty Sanchez's Matt Pritchard, Start Something really gets under the skin of how the bands' backgrounds have impacted their careers.

Don't forget, you can watch additional videos for the documentary here: /wales/music/sites/rock/pages/sw-rock-doc.shtml

What do you think of the bands featured in Start Something? Do you think the South Wales Valleys scene has something in its water or is it pure coincidence that so many bands come from the area?
