Questions from the queue

Tris Cotterill | 16:09 UK time, Friday, 26 November 2010

It's Friday! Hope you all enjoyed our slightly later show last night (because of an extra long Eastenders). We grabbed Russ after he finished recording it on Tuesday to answer some of the audience questions. These are his answers... Enjoy!

Just over five hours until show 6 (remember we are on at the slightly later time of 11pm tonight) so we thought we would give you a little taster of what to expect...

Thanks to all of you for your song suggestions by the way. In the end we went with Na Na Na by My Chemical Romance as suggested by Billie Stubley and loads of other people. Enjoy!

More captions please...

Tris Cotterill | 14:04 UK time, Wednesday, 24 November 2010

During the past two weeks you lot have done an amazing job suggesting loads of captions for shots from the show so we want you to have another go.

We want your caption for this picture from the show which we recorded last night. Again there is no prize except making Russ and the team laugh in the office (yeah, I know, that is not a prize).

Ok, caption away...

We want your music suggestions!

Tris Cotterill | 18:14 UK time, Friday, 19 November 2010

As you lot have done such a good job suggesting captions we thought we would give you a bit more work to do. Loads of people on Twitter have asked us about the music on the show so we though we would give you the chance to pick some of it! We want your music suggestions for the next show! We want you to choose a song to appear on the first ident of the show (the ident is the graphic thing which comes up between the different sections of the show). This is Russ to explain.

In order to see this content you need to have both Javascript enabled and Flash installed. Visit Â鶹Éç Webwise for full instructions. If you're reading via RSS, you'll need to visit the blog to access this content.

We will pick our favourite suggestion and put it in the show and you will probably get your name in the credits plus the eternal respect of team Good News. Obviously if we get no good suggestions then we may have to pick something ourselves but hopefully you will send us something amazing.

REMEMBER to watch Good News Extra this weekend at 22:20 on Â鶹Éç Three with stand-up guest Ed Gamble (who you can follow on ).

Holy Cheeses

Tris Cotterill | 17:50 UK time, Thursday, 18 November 2010

It's only a few hours to go until show 5 which means we are now over half way through the series! *sadface*. Because it's not long until the show we though we would give you a little taster of what to expect... Oh and Russ and the team have been reading your captions from the picture we put up yesterday so this is a bit of a response.... Enjoy!

Tris Cotterill | 15:02 UK time, Wednesday, 17 November 2010

Last week you did such a good job suggesting captions for the shot of Russell in standard and high definition that we thought we would put you to work again. No prizes or anything except the knowledge that you are the best.

Ok, let's have your best caption...

Russell on Facebook

Tris Cotterill | 19:33 UK time, Tuesday, 9 November 2010

So it's week four everyone which means we are nearly half way through the series which is *crazy*. Thanks for the stories you have been sending in, this is Russ looking at ideas from gemdelarouge, Charlie W and PoPpY_19. Also in the week that the Queen joined Facebook Russ talks about when someone pretended to be him. Enjoy!

You would go where in time?

Tris Cotterill | 17:32 UK time, Friday, 5 November 2010

It's the end of week three on Good News and everyone is now hardcore into planning the next show. Thanks for the stories you have been sending in (we have some great ones for next week already). Remember, if you send something in and we like it you could even get your name in the credits like @JAMMorgan, Sarah and @baabaa89. This is their moment of glory...

Remember earlier this week when Russ asked about what would you do if you could go back in time? Well we had tons of suggestions (some which cannot be repeated!), this is Russ responding to some of the best.

What would Russell tell his younger self?

Tris Cotterill | 18:47 UK time, Thursday, 4 November 2010

It's the big three tonight (which is something we have just invented) Episode 3 of Series 3 on Â鶹Éç Three. Anyway it's just over 3 hours (yes, another 3) until the show so it's only fair to give you a little preview with an intro from Russ. Enjoy!

Where would you go if you could travel back in time?

Tris Cotterill | 18:21 UK time, Tuesday, 2 November 2010

Thanks for all the stories you have been sending in for the show. This week Russell and the team have been looking at @JAMMorgan's suggestion about a woman spotted in a 1928 Charlie Chaplin film supposedly on a mobile. It went massively viral but if you haven't seen it....

Anyway, we want to know where would you go if you could travel back in time? This is Russ with a little bit more info...

Write your suggestions below and we'll get Russ to pick his favourites later in the week!
