Hi, a possible for your Good News bit - small Oxfordshire charity called Special Effect - - who think that all children should have the chance to play. Most video games are too fast or difficult for children with disabilities and so this charity works with families to find or adapt games to give them chance to play, like any other child can.

The Sun newspaper has run a story today about a16st woman who became stuck on a slide, at Butlins in Minehead, Somerset. Such is The Sun that the story has a box asking for anyone with more details, such as the woman's name, pictures of the event or the like, to contact them.
How awful for the poor woman. This story may raise a titter with many at first glance, including me, but try and imagine what the poor woman must have felt like.
Fire crews struggled to free the woman and had to evacuate another 100 holiday makers from the ride. The woman had shared a yellow dinghy with a thinner companion before becoming stuck. Their combined weight had probably exceeded the rides weight restriction. Therewere claims that the woman was more like 20st in weight. With the help of a lifeguard the woman managed to become free but slipped as she stepped onto the water slide.
It took 3 fire engines, two ambulances and a two hour effort to free her. During this time her young children were cared for by the camp nursery. Safety procedures are now under an urgent review. The woman was thankfully left with only minor injuries. I imagine her pride suffered much more.

Does anyone else think that Russ looks like the boy off The Witches movie (its on tele at the moment) - in a continuation of what Russ would tell his younger self - I suggest not going to hotels full of witches on the south coast (especially if Rowan Atkinson is around)!
