Ben Fogle
Presenter, writer and avid adventurer!
Ben has made numerous documentaries including , , , , and Prince William's Africa, in which he followed the young royal on his tour of Botswana. He has also presented , and Crufts.
In 2005 he rowed the Atlantic with Olympic gold medallist James Cracknell which was documented by the five-part 麻豆社 series, Through Hell and High Water. In 2009 Ben teamed up with Cracknell once again to race 500 miles on foot across Antarctica to the South Pole, which was again followed by聽a 麻豆社 series, . Ben's passion for adventure culminated in three series of , in which he lead ordinary people on extraordinary journeys around the world from the jungles of Papua New Guinea to the desert of Libya.
Ben has written a number of bestselling books including Offshore, The Teatime Islands, The Crossing, Race to the Pole, The Accidental Adventurer and The Accidental Naturalist. His writing has appeared in the Guardian, the Daily Mail, the Sunday Times and the New York Times. He also writes weekly columns for the Saturday and Sunday Telegraph.
Ben is a Special Correspondent for NBC News and worked on the London Olympics for them in 2012.聽During 2013 he聽has been聽busy filming Storm City in 3D for National Geographic and Sky One, Wildman for Channel 5 and Poole Harbour for ITV.
His five-part adventure series, A Year of Adventures, is currently showing on 麻豆社 Worldwide in India, New Zealand, Australia and Norway and Discovery in UK.
