Zoe Ball

Zoe was the first woman to front the Radio 1 Breakfast Show alone.

Zoe tripped the light fantastic as a contestant on 麻豆社1's ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ series and took part in a nationwide ‘Strictly’ tour in 2008. In 2011 she replaced Claudia Winkleman hosting the 麻豆社 Two spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two. Ball also hosted the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour in 2011 and 2015.

I yelped with delight when I heard about Can't Touch This. It's epic on every front, like a life-size game of mousetrap for humans - who wouldn't want to be fired from a catapult?


On ITV1, Zoe co-hosted the wildlife series ‘Extinct’ with Trevor MacDonald, presented the second series of ‘Soapstar Superstar’ for the same channel and presented ITV1's nationwide search for a 'Sandy' and 'Danny' in "Grease Is The Word". In 2013 Zoe presented Doctor Who Live: The Next Doctor.


Zoe presented Radio 2’s ‘The Definitive History of UK Dance Music’, and a Saturday morning show with Danny Baker. She is regularly heard sitting in for Ken Bruce and Dermot O’Leary on their Radio 2 programmes. On Saturday 6th June, 2009, Zoë took up the reins of the Saturday breakfast show on Radio 2.
