Ashley Banjo

Ashley Banjo is a street dancer and the creator of the street dance troupe, Diversity.

Ashley has been dancing since he was just 5 years old. This largely came about as a result of his mother's influence, who was a former dancer with The Royal Ballet. Later in his school years Ashley developed an interest in street dance and after performing solo in a number of events, he and his brother Jordan and nine friends formed a street dance group called Swift Mover. In 2007 they changed their name to Diversity.

鈥淚鈥檝e never quite seen anything like Can鈥檛 Touch This; the sheer scale of it is immense! The concept sounds so simple - 'touch the prize, win the prize' - but the course is anything but!

The troupe won the third season of Britain's Got Talent in 2009 and also won the 'Families United Positive Role Models' award at the 'Spirit of London' ceremony. Since then he's starred in a blockbuster movie, created multiple sell out nation-wide arena tours entertaining over 1 million people and become a judge on the hit SKY talent show Got To Dance.

He studied Biology at the University of London, while competing on Britain's Got Talent. Ashley Banjo is an Official Ambassador of the United Dance Organisation.

In 2015 he presented Perspectives: Michael Jackson's Thriller with Ashley Banjo.
