Zimbabwe's New Farmers
For Assignment, Dan Isaacs travels through Zimbabwe to see what price people have paid for land reform and to meet the new owners of the country's commercial farms.
It's now 10 years since Zimbabwe's president Robert Mugabe initiated a land reform programme which saw the forced transfer of white commercial farms into black ownership. Since then the country has been through a period of political turmoil and sharp economic decline. For Assignment, Dan Isaacs travels through Zimbabwe to see what price people have paid for reform and to meet the new owners of the land.
