Presenter, Nicola Weir, joins the Brompton Belles and Beaux as they go sea swimming at Jenny’s Cover in Bangor to find out how taking an early morning dip can help both mental and physical health and she finds out more about the spread of Blue Tongue from Dr Simon Doherty. Sheepdogs are taking centre stage at the Balmoral Show and champion sheep dog trialist, James P McGee, tells Nicola what it takes to train a winning dog at his farm in County Donegal and she speaks to Nature Friendly Farmers, Charlie Cole in Ballycastle and Louise Skelly in Katesbridge about the importance of hedgerows as we celebrate National Hedgerow Week. Barbara Collins travels to County Roscommon to speak to those enjoying the Ramblin’ House that brings people in the rural community together through traditional song and music and Hannah Quinn Mulligan samples some tasty flavours in Wales as she finds out how one family farm was saved by ice cream!
