Presenter, Nicola Weir, finds about more about the Wool Innovators Pilot project from Ulster Wool’s Jayne Harkness- Bones, who took the story of wool into 13 primary schools here and challenged them to make something with wool and bring it to the Balmoral Show. And we head to the cattle and pig sheds to find out more about the competition at this year’s Balmoral Show and reporter, Barbara Collins, samples some tasty delights in the Food Pavilion. We find out more about the Irish Farmers’ Journal eagerly anticipated report into the state of the agri-food industry in the island of Ireland and reporter, Hannah Quinn Mulligan travels to Monaghan to talk to a farmer who turned his farm from beef to tillage.
