Rare fungi find on Divis and Black Mountain

Is a fungi found on Divis and Black Mountain a first for Ireland? A history lesson in Finnebrogue Woods. And would you cuddle a cow?

Presenter, Nicola Weir, takes a hike up Divis and Black Mountain and finds out that DNA checks are being carried out on a fungi found there that might make it a first for Ireland. She also speaks to Lisbellaw farmer, Richard Dane, who lost half his herd to bovine TB and chats to World Vet of the Year, County Down man, Dr Simon Doherty. She also gets more details about AFBI’s newly commissioned £28 million pounds research vessel and goes for a dander around Finnebrogue Woods just outside Downpatrick with owner, Ed Lindsay. And finally, would you cuddle a cow? Nicola speaks to farmer, Fiona Wilson, whose cuddle team of cows – including Soft Face, Seven, Cloud and Cuddlepuff – are bringing smiles and warm hairy hugs in East Yorkshire.
