This week Grammy Award-winner Angelique Kidjo gives us a guide to iconic West African rhythms from Fela Kuti to her own home village in Benin. Last year Angelique was included in the 麻豆社 list of the 100 most inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2020. This year she sang for the Opening Ceremony of the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo and has been included in Time Magazine鈥檚 100 Most Influential People of 2021.
Forager Roger Phillips shares anecdotes from his latest book; Vegetables: The Definitive Guide For Gardeners. Roger began photographing and publishing pictures of the world鈥檚 garden plants in 1975, creating an encyclopaedic collection of books to show the difference between plants as diverse as mosses, roses and annuals.
