Writer, producer and director Matthew Vaughn discusses how he uses music in his films.

Matthew's big-break came with his work as a producer on close friend Guy Ritchie's film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. He would later produce Ritchie's Snatch and Swept Away. He made his directorial debut in 2004 with Layer Cake., and also co-wrote and directed Stardust and a movie adaptation of Mark Millar's Kick-Ass.

Here he talks to Edith about his love of 80's (and loathing of 90's) music, and runs through some of the more memorable uses of songs in his work.
