All the best moments from Radio 1 Rocks!

6 of the biggest rock bands around crammed into the world famous 麻豆社 Maida Vale Studios for one night only. returned on Halloween for a night of very special exclusive performances. With Marmozets, Neck Deep, Enter Shikari, Arcane Roots, PVRIS and Architects all playing, the lineup absolutely blew us away. Here are our favourite moments:

PVRIS covering a Foo Fighters classic

PVRIS kicked off a day of Radio 1 Rocks fun by dropping by Clara Amfo's show to perform a stunning cover of the ' rock anthem Everlong. All stripped back with Lynn from the band putting down her guitar and jumping on the keyboard, it was a breathtaking moment! They performed it again and left the Maida Vale audience gobsmacked with literal goosebumps - no ghost costumes required.

Marmozets gave us actual chills

The Yorkshire band well and truly whipped Maida Vale into a frenzy. They kicked off with Play, which sounded HUGE, before covering Led Zeppelin and unleashing their dark new single Meant To Be. We cannot wait for their next album Knowing What You Know Now to be released in January!

Neck Deep took us to Paradise

Neck Deep are in the middle of a massive European tour but flew back to the UK for one day only to play Radio 1 Rocks. And we're so glad they did! The guys filled our heads with ear-worms from their new album The Peace and the Panic and their Green Day cover was definitely something special. With lots of special guests in the audience, Sam Carter from Architects joining them on stage was an absolute treat.

Enter Shikari making the Monster Mash their own

Fresh from releasing their fifth album The Spark last month, Enter Shikari got right in the Radio 1 Rocks crowd's faces. Their Blur cover caused absolute pandemonium and new single Rabble Rouser even got a crowdsurfer! You can feel the electricity in the air as Rou Reynolds and co. launch into the opening chords of Song 2:

Arcane Roots showed Muse's New Born in a whole new light

Kingston Upon Thames' finest Arcane Roots treated us to some of their latest album Melancholia Hymns, and showcased the more intricate side of rock music. They picked us Off The Floor and then knocked us off our feet again with an incredible cover of Muse's New Born. Having toured with the band a couple of years ago, they showed us why their new album is getting all the .

Architects brought the roof down to finish

Last and certainly the loudest, Architects closed Radio 1 Rocks by turning the volume all the way up to 11. The band released Doomsday last month, the first single since the death of band-member Tom Searle, and confirmed they're working on new material. Their deafening Nirvana cover drew a massive reaction from the Maida Vale crowd!
