The 28th Conference of the Parties (COP) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is the world's most important climate summit, where world leaders gather to work together on solutions to tackle climate change.
COP28 in Dubai is expected to host over 70,000 delegates, including heads of state and world leaders, representing 197 countries, the EU, and thousands of non-government organisations, companies, youth groups, and other stakeholders, to build consensus and encourage progress on climate action.
We'll be at COP28 - with stunning films and events that call for climate action.

Our event
Making national adaptation plans more efficient: New solutions to bridge the NAP gap
Time: Monday, December 11, 15:00-16:30
Location: Side Event Room 9
Hosted by: GIZ, 麻豆社 Media Action, University of Twente, GGGI, NAP Global Network (IISD), UCCRN (Columbia University)
Extreme weather events, such as droughts, floods, rising sea levels, rising temperatures, and increasing water scarcity, endanger previous development successes and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. National Adaptation Plan processes are an essential element of climate risk analyses to identify, prioritise, implement, and track progress toward adaptation - to reduce vulnerability and save lives.
This event will highlight best practices and identify gaps toward effective, inclusive, and ambitious NAP processes. It aims to provide new perspectives to support least developed countries and Small Island Developing States in preparing their plans, including their operational and financial components.
Moderated by Justin Rowlatt, Climate Editor, 麻豆社 News
With panellists:
Ingrid Gabriela Hoven, Member of Board, GIZ
Simon Stiell, Executive Secretary, UNFCCC
Caroline Sugg, Director of Strategy and Partnerships, 麻豆社 Media Action
