Our News Quiz insider writes...

Here's News Quiz producer Sam Bryant reading the papers in preparation for this week's writers meeting (see last week's blog). Exciting, huh? Tonight, our intrepid panel-sketeers are Jeremy Hardy, Susan Calman, Phill Jupitus and Andy Hamilton. And some of the things that they may or may not be discussing when you tune in at 6.30pm (the show is still being edited as I type) include the Chilean miners, university fees, quangos and dogs being sad.

  • Comment number 1.

Don't know if this blog is current but, my wife has hearing difficulties which the News quiz tends to highlight. We listen via a Sky HD box and always record the show. The problem is that Sandy Toksvig is considerably louder than the panel. To have the panel at a volume that she can hear means Sandy's voice blows us out of our seats. Is there anything you or I can do please?

Thanks anyway for an always entertaining show.
