What is the Â鶹Éç Comedy Asset Licence?
The Â鶹Éç Comedy Asset Licence contains the legal rules that you must comply with in order to use and download any material provided by the Â鶹Éç Comedy website (the "Â鶹Éç Comedy Content").
How does the Â鶹Éç Comedy Asset Licence differ from a Creative Commons Licence?
The Â鶹Éç Comedy Asset Licence is heavily inspired by the . The Â鶹Éç has additional requirements, however, that need to be reflected in the terms under which it licences content. The most obvious is the No Endorsement requirement.
In addition, the Â鶹Éç Comedy Asset Licence seeks to protect the Licensor's moral right of integrity, that is, the right not to have a work treated in a derogatory or objectionable way.
How will the Â鶹Éç Comedy Asset Licence benefit those who created the content in the first place?
All Â鶹Éç Comedy Content made available under the terms of the Â鶹Éç Comedy Asset Licence has been rights cleared. If a user wishes to make commercial use of any Â鶹Éç Comedy Content, a separate licence would be required, and a fee would be payable. The Licence
Here it is - the licence you've all been waiting for!
Non-commercial
This means that you may use material provided by the Â鶹Éç Comedy website ("Â鶹Éç Comedy Content") for your own personal use and for not-for-profit educational use but you can't sell or profit financially in any way from the use of Â鶹Éç Comedy Content.
Share-Alike
This means that Â鶹Éç Comedy Content is made available to you under the terms set out in the Â鶹Éç Comedy Licence and if you wish to use the Â鶹Éç Comedy Content you must then licence anything you create or produce using the Â鶹Éç Comedy Content (i.e a Derivative Work) under the same Â鶹Éç Comedy Licence. It's simple!
Crediting (Attribution)
It's your chance to make sure everyone knows what you've done, but you ALSO need to make sure that everyone who has contributed to a piece of content (a Derivative Work) is credited too. It's up to you how creatively you acknowledge others' contributions!
No Endorsement and No derogatory use
The Â鶹Éç Comedy Content is provided to allow you to get creative with content, not for campaigning, soapboxing or to defame others! So don't use it to promote political, charitable, or other campaigning purposes and remember to treat others and their work in the way that you'd expect them to treat you and your work... with respect!
