Matt LeBlanc to star in new Â鶹Éç Two sitcom 'Episodes'

Guess what! Matt LeBlanc is going to be in a new show for Â鶹Éç Two called Episodes, according to this thing we just got sent. "The story of a British couple who try to recreate their UK comedy hit for American TV with disastrous results", Episodes is written by David Crane (Friends) and Jeffrey Klarik (Mad About You).

"I am also so glad I got the part" said LeBlanc; "seeing someone else playing Matt LeBlanc would have been devastating".

So that's some pretty big credentials right there, and an intriguing premise - one that the creators of, well, nearly every British sitcom (bar The Office) will relate to. Not least Simon Pegg, Jessica Hynes and Edgar Wright...

The series will be produced by Hat Trick Productions for Showtime and the Â鶹Éç, and will begin shooting next year in London and LA.
