A very happy Thursday to all the bloggers. I used to lurk and occasionally post a while back and have recently returned to find things much quieter. Did something dramatic happen or did things just fizzle a bit? Just wondering!

And I do still send those wishes to that lovely man, but my entire day turned on its head this morning when I heard Chris say that Westlife are splitting up! Mary, thank you for thinking of me - I must listen again to Chris's show this morning - I only heard him until 8am!

A sad day, indeed, in the life of this particular blogger, but I will soldier on, as best as possible. Kian, Mark, Shane and Nicky ... you have broken my heart!

When you first mentioned that Nancy Dolioolaly was going to be your Friday guest Chris I was not at all interested thinking to myself 'I've got no time for these se called celebrities who don't actually do anything' but as we are getting nearer I find myself getting more and more curious as to what this interview will be like.

It's often the way that we end up liking people who irritate us and vice versa. Can;t wait to see what happens!

I'm hoping my new roof will be put on soon and that my TV aerial will be put back. I know that there are more important things going on in the world but I'm getting TV withdrawal symptoms. Can watch online but it costs too much and I'm already concerned about my licence!

Could you please ask her what her hot water bottle technique is. Does she go for the excellent 'cover all three areas' technique that we heard about this morning, or does she go for the 'stick it up your nightie' approach favoured by most ballroom-dancing, world peace-promoting Italian lawyers?

AliB, I’m here and ok, thanks for asking.

Not had much to report really, I took a complete break from the blog and the breakfast show when our leader was on holiday. Tried to listen on the first day, but was a definite turn off for me. Personally I think Miranda should stick to TV where she is brilliant.

Christoff, good luck tomorrow with loopy lolilo, a complete nut case if you ask me. Doubt I will hear much of it as I will be on breakfast duty with lots of chattering going on here (see below).

We are awaiting two jam eaters yet again for a sleepover, yes another day off tomorrow. I am not complaining because I love having them but for those working parents who don’t have childcare, how do they manage? We never had ‘inset’ days way back then!

We have yet another bright and beautiful day, albeit mighty cold. Might have to flick the heating switch, just to test it works, you understand!

Friends of ours used to live in a house that had high ceilings and they used to hang their bikes on brackets from the ceiling.

Long story but ter cut a long short as me mind will allow.... What am trying ter do is get me long lead water pipe cut short.... Aka capped off.... Which presently a can't do as me stockcock is ceased solid.... And there's no stop vavle in the street for me new old 'ouse.... Thus meaning me water pipes are live... Live where a live.... And unstoppable if a getta pipe blow out!!!!!!!
Ter top it all... am renovating me 'ouse and ter rip out me old bathroom & kitchen... A need ter be able ter stop the water... Of which presently a can't all!!!!!!

So ave spent in between work digging mesen inter a BIG 'ole all!!!!!!!
Nothing new there some might say!!!!!!
But this is a new type of 'ole ave dug mesen well & truly inter.... in fact ave gone under me foundations all!!!!!!!

Ave 'ad ter break through the floor in me 'all.... go down through 130 years of rubble and then excavate me way under me foundations!!!!!!
Then ave 'ad ter dig up me front path... drop down four feet and burrow the other way under me foundations until..... 'BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
A break through with the first 'ole.... VERY MUCH like me very own version of the channel tunnel!!!!!!!
Only difference mine is ter carry water through it.... Not illegal immigrants..... And mine didn't cost over a billion pounds!!!!!!!!

Any way ave banged me new pipe in all ter me local water authority regulations... complete with ducting & insulation and a britsh standard stopcock & drain valve!!!!!!!!

Next is the water board pipe inspector coming termorrow ter inspect me water pipe... ter see if it is upter the required standard!!!!!!

If so, then the go-ahead will be given ter connect me ter the main in the street of ter my new pipe thus giving me a new supply of water and then allowing me ter get a plumber in ter disconnect me 130year old lead pipes before too much exposure ter the lead sends me insane!!!!!!!! (lead poisoning does that!!!)

Cold but bright here today, and yes, I have succumbed to the heating, michelin man is not a good look!

Off to the capital for a jam packed weekend of sightseeing, eating, drinking and catching up with good friends ;-)

Only hope we can get into St Pauls, as I missed out last time I was there :-(

Still, it looks like it will be dry, if chilly.

Last day of the week ,and Mr B and myself are off down to Somerset tomorrow to help a fellow blogger celebrate his Silver wedding anniversary ,and his Beautiful wife's birthday yeah!!! yes the one and only lovely Keith . Other wise known to me and a certain fairy as ( Captain Jolly.)

Well that wasn't that bad was it? Didn't hear much but what I did hear seemed OK to me - well done Chris.

Winter must be setting in as the scarf and gloves have been out the past two days and the temp in the car this morning was 3.5. However, no heating on at home yet.

Apparently they all have plans and ideas for new careers, so we may not have seen the last of them! Thanks for asking. xx

Did you slip off for lunch with her after? She's a bit of a man eater i'm led to believe. She'd have you for breakfast.

What did she look like at that time in the morning anyway? Glamorous as ever or a bit ragged round the edges?

She's having a nightmare on strictly even though all at are routing for her.

I just think she doesn't fit in that well wit the others. Did you get the impression that she thinks she's better than everyone else or not?

I couldn't really tell from the conversation. I thought she gave a good account of herself anyway.
