James Morrison - 'Undiscovered'

James MorrisonOh that's right, you'd like me to like this song, wouldn't you, James? You bung in a gospel choir and soaring Hammond organ, and then bellow like a moose with a freshly-hammered thumb, and you just expect me to roll over and let you musically tickle my belly, right? Yeah, well, think again!

(Windows Media only)

Oh sure, you sound all impassioned and fired-up by something or other. Probably a love-based thing, I shouldn't wonder, that's all a soul man like yourself ever goes on about, right? There's a REAL WORLD out there, fella! And it's filled with PEOPLE who have REAL PROBLEMS...problems like POVERTY, and BULLYING...and MATHS HOMEWORK...and stuff...

But do you even acknowledge these things? Oh no, you just use those honey tones to roar your eternal soul to the very skies above, and expect everyone to be dead impressed. And y'know, just because they ARE, it doesn't make you right, RIGHT?

OK, so it does make you right. But I still don't like this song. Apart from the bits I do like. Which are great...

DAMN YOU, MORRISON, YOU WIN AGAIN!
