De YouTube Raiden* - The Feeling
As popular as it may have been to dismiss this lot because they're neither 'edgy', nor 'street' (or particularly young, if we're being honest), it's a PROVEN FACT that 2006 needed the Feeling and their fun songs about people not ringing other people when they should've (seriously, their whole album is about that one thing).
Yes they play old man pop, yes they're about as cool as jam in an oven on the sun, and yes the indie kids can't stand them. But they're just plain GOOD TO HAVE AROUND, OK?

Yep this lot are pretty good, "Never be lonely" is great, but I bet their version of "Helicopter" isn't as good as Bloc party's!

Why is it that absolutely no-one seems to have so far commented on the fact that "The Feeling" sound like they have stolen their entire musical ethos and personality from "Semisonic" ? ?

I've been checking my Dutch-to-English and English-to-Dutch dictionaries and the correct translation of "raid" would be "klopjacht". That is, if you mean raid in the sense of round-up :)
The Feeling is lovely though, even though they seem to have an obsession with phones and drinks like tea and wine ;)
