    Congrats on the nominimininations guys! ;D The old radio just isn't the same without you.
    I guess it's nice to be in the position where you don't mind which one wins! It would be great if Adam's Big Mixtape won as he did it all on his tod (with a bit of help from James :D )
    But I also would not mind at all if Adam & Joe won! As long as it's one of these it's all good :D
    Looking forward to seeing as big an opening for Attack the Block as there was has been for Scott Pilgrim. In the words of those sunbleached, gorgeous, harmonious boys from the beach "Wouldn't it Be Nice!"

    WOOOO! I wish we could vote in the first section too. I am still missing Big Mixtape, and working my way through the enormous list of things to investigate from it’s tracklistings….my current mix(cd)tape has got 5 discoveries from those shows on it! I just don’t think you can beat that formula for a show, not that I don’t love the A&J shows and podcasts, but I am first and foremost a massive music nerd and so a show which compiles a themed tracklisting and tells you about why they’re part of the theme is always going to make me very, very happy….

    I used to love Stuart Maconie’s Critical List (Radio 2 series about 10 yrs ago about creating the perfect album collection) for the same reason, but the links were sometimes a bit less pleasing – songs about colours, groups with siblings in, debut albums etc – not always an actual musical theme/mood, which I prefer. I’m boring myself now, so I’m going away. Bye bye.

    Seriously? Your last show said you were taking a break. 8 months later there's no show but you want us to vote for it anyway? Nah.

  • Comment number 9.

    @Craig,

    With respect, you are not being asked to vote for the Adam & Joe or mixtape shows, as it's judged by a panel. It's the 6music station that's up for public voting in the "best place to hear music" category, as James has pointed out above.

    Would still like to be miffed about the ongoing absence of our duo though.

    Adam had some really quite brilliant guests on the Mixtape show, and they surely deserve a little well-deserved stroke of the trophy too!

    Well done once again! xxx
