Will miss: Russell and just being at home.
Looking forward to: Meeting lots of Amazon river people and sharing their riverside lives as well as making new friends. Lying on a hammock, on a boat travelling down river.
Dreading: Not being able to communicate with the river people in remote communities because of the differences between my Portuguese, from Portugal, and their Brazilian Portuguese. Hopefully it won't happen!

We all loved the second community we visited, but Bruce became attached to one particular member of the community - a small black kitten. This was no ordinary kitten, it was the hardiest and toughest kitten we had ever seen.
