Kausikan Rajeshkumar

From Harrow in Middlesex, 18 year old Kausikan is a pupil at The Purcell School. He started playing 10 years ago and has already chalked up an impressive list of recital engagements both as a soloist and a chamber musician in venues including Wigmore Hall, St John's Smith Square and the Queen Elizabeth Hall.

Kausikan was a prize winner in 2005 at the International Liszt Competition in Weimar and in addition to his playing he has received awards for his composing including a Highly Commended in Â鶹Éç Young Composer of the Year 2006.

He enjoys good food and filling his mind with quite useless information!
