Anonymous e-mailer: I think the conditions have changed and we should exit libya as soon as substantial air force capabilities have been destroyed, otherwise we might be party to supporting a "rebel genocide" which is not in our interest either!!!

Professor123: It amazes me daily how smart people could be so "dumb." If they were the ones who were going to get shot; or if they had to live in fear of what they say every minute of every day, I wonder how their view would change. Gaddafi must go.

Parkinson in Nigeria: What happens to all the arms and ammunition in the possession of the anti-government forces after Ghadaffi steps down? Is the country not headed towards an atmosphere of terror and chaos? Is there any assurance of political tranquility after this agitation?

Tom in the UK e-mails: What is the definition of a "civilian" in this conflict ? Are there any non-civilians on the side of the rebels ? Or are all pro-Gadaffi supporters non-civilians as seen by the coalition?

Mallpratt in Ghana: Barack Obama said in Ghana in 2009 that Africans don't need strongmen but they need strong institutions. Obama, where on earth have weak men built strong institutions? We are Africans, we have our ways of doing things.
