With both Japan and China already boasting successful space programs and India actively pursuing the development of technology for space exploration, the next human to walk on the moon might well be neither American nor Russian.
In the first of two programmes, former NASA astronaut Jeff Hoffman looks at the possibility of a new 'space race' in the 21st Century, and speaks to some of the people who might help that dream become a reality. Jeff Hoffman made five flights as a Space Shuttle astronaut, logging more than 1,200 hours and 21.5 million miles in space.
