That’s a fantastic goal. It’s a great ball, Michael Mellon is in behind the defender and he looks up to see Tom Bloxham at the far post free as a bird, lovely cross into him and a lovely side-foot through the keeper.

Great chance for Sutton as Harry Smith slips striker partner Aiden O'Brien through, but with Lewis Carey out to meet him the shot goes wide.

Deadlock yet to be broken though it's Sutton now racking up opportunities.

  6. goal

GOAL: Bolton 5-1 Harrogatepublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Dan Nlundulu (52 mins)

Three for Jon Dadi Bodvarsson. And now Dan Nlundulu is only one behind him!

Kyle Dempsey drives down the right and gets the assist for Nlundulu to grab his second.

Just checking - does anyone give Harrogate any chance now?

  8. goal

GOAL: Peterborough 2-0 Doncasterpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Ephron Mason-Clark (53 mins)

Louis Jones could only delay the inevitable for so long.

A powerful run from Ephron Mason-Clark to cut in from the left before he takes aim with his right foot and fires through a crowd and past Jones.

Posh looking very good for round three now.

Some games have restarted, a couple still waiting... but the majority back up and running.

  10. Gills have 'bossed the game'published at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Gillingham 2-0 Charlton

    Peter Lloyd
    Â鶹Éç Radio Kent

Fantastic first half [from Gillingham]. The tone was set in the first minute, that we’ve got the energy to close them down.

Whatever changes they’ve made, they’ve still got a strong team out and from a Gills point of view, we have bossed the game.

We haven't made loads of chances but have taken the two that mattered.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Peterborough 1-0 Doncaster

The second half resumes with a similar pattern as Louis Jones continues to repel Peterborough.

This time, he saves from Ephron Mason-Clark's drive.

  12. 'Looks like a serious injury'published at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Maidstone 1-1 Barrow

    Matthew Gerrard
    Â鶹Éç Radio Kent

When Sam Corne has played further up the field Maidstone have looked a more dangerous side.

But Maidstone will be disappointed because it does look like a serious injury to Levi Amantchi, their main striker, but manager George Elokobi will say it’s a squad game and other players will have to show they can do it.

  13. Postpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Newport 1-0 Barnet

Newport have not won three successive games, which they are trying to achieve today, since August 2022.

Exiles boss Graham Coughlan must have been ramming that message home in the dressing room to see this cup tie out.

  14. Second FA Cup treble for Bodvarssonpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

Like all diligent football reporters, I started doing my hat-trick research after Jon Dadi Bodvarrsoon scored his second.

Not only is he the only Icelandic to score a hat-trick in this famous competition, it's the second time he's done it - today's efforts going alongside his Reading third-round triple in January 2018.

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

Maidstone and Horsham are both level. Barnet trail at Newport.

Which of these three non-league sides will be in the hat for the third round come 5pm?

  16. Maidstone-Barrow tie 'full of energy'published at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    HT: Maidstone 1-1 Barrow

    Sarah Mulkerrins
    Â鶹Éç Final Score

The equaliser was no more than Maidstone deserved. This game is lively, it's open, full of energy.

Maidstone play in the National League South and are 47 places below Barrow, from League Two.

  17. 'Game plan worked perfectly'published at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    HT: Wycombe 0-1 Morecambe

    Mark Atkins
Former Blackburn midfielder on Â鶹Éç Radio Lancashire

Morecambe will be delighted. The game plan has worked perfectly - you can see they’ve been working on set-pieces and that’s got them the goal.

They were opened up once and saved by the keeper but apart from that they’ve been well in the game, worked hard and got Eli King on the end of a set-piece.

  18. Carey 'keeping Horsham in game'published at 16:00 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    HT: Sutton 0-0 Horsham

    Betty Glover
    Â鶹Éç Final Score

Horsham's keeper Lewis Carey is keeping them in this game - he has made some brilliant saves.

Sutton have had four or five shots on goal but Carey has saved them all.

There are 57 places in the league between this sides. I think Horsham will take this scoreline at the break.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Gillingham 2-0 Charlton

Nearly a perfect 45 for Stephen Clemence and Gillingham, as in-form Charlton have been brought down to earth at Priestfield.

The Gills scored through ex-Charlton forward Macauley Bonne and then added a second when Timothee Dieng netted.

They might have had more, while Charlton's best chance came to Alfie May who was denied by Jake Turner.

May's most telling contribution otherwise was a booking.

Jonny Williams' exit before half-time was the big disappointment for Gills. The veteran has departed injured.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Maidstone 1-1 Barrow

Maidstone celebrate Sam Corne's equaliser against BarrowImage source, Rex Features

Delayed finish to the game at the Gallagher after an injury to Maidstone striker Levi Amantchi at the back end which prompted a stoppage.

Barrow took the lead through Ben Whitfield after a bit of defensive lapse, but Maidstone got themselves back in it through Sam 'Corne Dog' Corne.

Amantchi is a loss though, 20 goals this term.
