Tarkan (Turkey)

'A truly distinctive voice covering a wide genre of music styles. From love songs to party music, Tarkan's music has strong beats, even stronger melodies with a performing charisma to match.'

Yenge:
'Tarkan is without a doubt the best thing ever to come out of Turkey. He has mixed modern western music with traditional eastern, to create a whole new sound. He then took over Europe with his song "Simarik"(the kiss kiss one! Holly valance recently covered!) Tarkan can also speak perfect English, and is preparing to hit the U.K charts, as he has been working on an English album. He will definitely be the star to look out forin 2003!'

Leyla, London:
'He owns the original worldwide smash hit Kiss Kiss. The record has been covered by almost every country in the world, but no one can match Tarkan's original version. He has a voice like no other, he writes and produces his own music all of which has been worldwide hits. His music is enjoyed by millions all over the world many of which cannot understand the Turkish language, for Tarkans music can touch people in a way no other artists can. From th age of 19 this superstar has been writing amazing songs. A success all over Europe, though he has not yet lived his dream of breaking the UK.'

'He can touch anyone through his music, even if you don't understand Turkish. So many artists have covered his music that must say something. I think he is simply the best.'

'Tarkan has his own unique voice and style. His music just makes you want to get up and dance!! People admire him, as he has a very positive attitude. He enjoys producing the best music for his fans, and will spend months and months working on an album till it is 100% perfect.This is why all his work is incredible.'
