So let me paint a picture for you. The bus is amazing, just as you'd expect. There are DVD players, playstations, a chillout room, fridges, food, dvd & CD library to die for...even disco lights at the back of the bus for when we bust out Laura's Singstar karaoke game. There's everything you could wish for from a hotel with Dave The Driver being our Basil Fawlty for the week (he looks like the missing chuckle brother).

Everyone's in that 'schooltripbackofthebus' mood at the moment which is nice, but that will last as long as it takes for the effects of the no smoking rule to kick in. Speaking of tour rules...here they are.

1. No smoking on the bus.
2. No Solids (We are the No Poo Crew) 3. Keep flatulence to a minimum.

And finally, shattering the age-old tour rule of 'What Happens On Tour Stays On The Tour'

They've all been warned...

A pattern is emerging. Rhys (Senior Producer) is asleep, Laura is doing her nails and Miles (Tour Manager) with messes with random papers in an attempt to look busy everytime I come near with a camera, Pete (Video Director) is going around checking everyones bed to check no-one has a softer mattress than him. The only team member missing is Scott who is already in Southampton.

I do not feel anything like a rock star on this bus. I feel like a big lump who can't fit on his bunk. That's all.

Made sure my bed was right at the front of the bus. The one with windows that is furthest away from those smelly people on the bus with me. I'm just above Laura and there is a curtain seperating us from the rest of the bus...its about as close as I'm getting to first class on this trip.

Loads of press people came to talk to us and take photos and stuff...Scott decided to draw a moustache and glasses in the dirt on my face on the back end of the bus! very artistic! ha ha!

We've just got back from town where we went to find more possible dates for Laura just in case the ones that we've already got lined up for tonight aren't quite up to standard (whatever that standard is). I don't know whether it was the rain...or Scott screaming through his megaphone...or even the fact that Laura had her the hood of her coat up all the time...but the response wasn't amazing. Whilst we were expecting a 'Take That ticket queue' scenario the reality turned out to be more like a 'Who wants to buy a Gary Barlow Solo Album' scenario with the answer being 'Nobody'. Well I say nobody but we did stumble across a few weird randoms, a couple of builders and one guy who did actually say 'YES!'...phew.

Laura has just had to sit in a room full of journalists and do her first official press conference. She has had every photographer from every South Coast publication photograph her standing in front of a big red bus with a 12 foot picture of herself painted on the side. In a few hours time she will sit on a panel alongside Scott, Chappers and her Dad and watch hopefuls do their best to win a night with her. I think the reality of 'One Night With Laura' has just kicked in... God bless her.

Rhys is in bed again.

The show is over and at last its time for us all to sit down and eat..in a hotel restaurant. Its the first bit of normality we've had all day. If we've not been sitting on a bus we've been broadcasting radio shows from the back of a truck. Whilst I wouldn't say Cabin Fever has set in just yet you can see it is getting closer. Chappers was bookies favourite to be first to leave the bus but with chilli on the menu and Rhys lapping it up like starving dog expect a mass exodus in the middle of the night when the beans kick in.
