This Is Africa welcomes Yemi Alade, one of the biggest and most vivacious female Afrobeats stars. The Nigerian superstar tells DJ Edu how her hit song Johnny almost never reached the public. It has now amassed more than a hundred million views on Youtube.

The TIA spotlight falls on Zimbabwe, and the talented producer turned recording artist Simbatagz. The list of people he鈥檚 worked with reads like a roll call of top flight talent, including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Sarz and Wande Cole.
