Donald Morrison
Donald Morrison has been a Â鶹Éç Gaelic journalist for nearly 30 years, working on a variety of news and other programmes, joining the Â鶹Éç straight from Aberdeen University where he gained a degree in Gaelic Studies. He is one of the main presenters of Â鶹Éç Radio nan Gà idheal’s morning news programme Aithris na Maidne as well as a reporter for Radio nan Gà idheal and the Â鶹Éç ALBA news programme An Là . Also on Â鶹Éç ALBA, he hosts the chat show Thuige Seo, exploring the lives of prominent Gaels. Donald co-wrote and presented the acclaimed television series on Highland emigration Na h-Eilthirich, filming in the USA, Canada, Argentina, Chile, Australia and New Zealand. From Uig in Lewis, he is now based in the Â鶹Éç’s Inverness office, and lives in the Black Isle village of North Kessock, with his wife Mary and three grown-up children.
