Harrison was born in a small town called Cronton, just outside of Liverpool where he lives with his mum, dad and older brother. He has been dancing since he was 4-years-old, and previously starred as Bruce Bogtrotter in the musical Matilda in the West End during 2015 and 2016.

“When I got the role I was ecstatic! I classed myself as a really good dancer, but I soon realised when I started rehearsals I was not as good as I first thought. That really gave me the incentive and inspiration to knuckle down and get a lot better,” he says.

The 16-year-old also trained at the Billy Elliot School from the age of 10. He classes becoming a double World Champion in his solos at the Dance World Cup 2019 as his biggest achievement in dance. His other titles includes 13 World Championship between 2017 and 2019, The Next Step Winner S2, 30 TDCI Regional Championships in Modern, Ballet, Acro, Song and Dance and Tap.

“I have loved Jazz music since I was 4. I used to play it around the house and prance around. I think I was always born to be on the stage. I begged my mum for a pair of tap shoes when I was three. It just makes me feel so happy when I dance, like a fire in my belly,” he adds.

Harrison has trained in several disciplines including lyrical, contemporary, jazz, broadway musical theatre, tap and commercial. He has also trained in acrobatics.
