Jarred’s unique and larger than life persona has won him fans across the country, proving him to be one of the most likeable stars on the circuit. His energetic storytelling has earned him a whole host of accolades including a Chortle Award and has catapulted him to the forefront of our TV screens in shows such as Mock The Week (Â鶹Éç2), (Â鶹Éç2) 8 out of 10 Cats, (Channel 4), Argumental (Dave), One Night Stand (Dave) and Let’s Dance for Comic Relief (Â鶹Éç 1). His radio credits include (Â鶹Éç Radio 4), and Flight of the Conchords (Â鶹Éç Radio 2).
Originally from New Zealand, Jarred Christmas’ unique comedy style has taken him all over the world performing at comedy clubs, festivals and on TV and radio. A dynamic onstage persona combined with the ability to improvise with anything that’s thrown his way makes his comedy sizzle with originality.
More recently Jarred has branched out into acting, stealing the show in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves at the New Wimbledon Theatre in 2011, where he starred alongside Warwick Davies and Priscilla Presley. Off the back of this season Jarred continues to work with Warwick, most recently on new web series, . Back on TV, Jarred guest stars in episodes of Hollyoaks Later and Jonathan Creek.
Jarred’s been to Northern Ireland enough to know a little but wonder a lot. An independent observer on us and our ways, Jarred gets to ask the silly questions and laugh at the sillier answers.
