Get to know Dave
During his day job in the Army, clean cut drum major Dave usually leads marching drills and trains up new recruits to play music in his regiment’s military band.
And although this rocking soldier declared our Voice stage far scarier than a screaming sergeant's orders, his Blind Audition performance of Michael Bolton’s classic ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’ was most certainly enough to have Mr Wilson stand to attention, command his red button and march Dave right onto #TeamRicky.

Quick fire with Dave
What pop star’s poster would you hang on your wall right now? “Bruno Mars”
If you could have witnessed any music event in history what would it be? “The rise of The Beatles!”
What song do you like to sing in the shower? “Runaway Baby, by Bruno Mars”
You’re headlining Wembley! What would you have on your rider? “Baileys, ice and a beanbag!”
What famous person do people say you most resemble? “James Arthur, apparently?”
What is the best prank you have ever pulled? “I once put laxatives in a chocolate eclair and gave it to my brother! Funnily enough he didn’t stick around too long before he had to visit the loo!”
