New to the Strictly family in 2017, Amy made history by being the first ever Welsh professional to enter the Ballroom. She may be a long way from her hometown of Caerphilly, but that hasn’t stopped her setting her sights high.

Amy’s students say she can be strict and is quite the perfectionist, which her first dancing partner Brian Conley quickly found out! However, the duo only made it to Week Four of the competition. Amy fared better the following year with actor Danny John-Jules, as the pair scored the very first 10 of Strictly 2018, but sadly their journey was cut short in Week Eight of the competition.

She made it all the way to the Grand Final in 2019 with celeb partner Karim Zeroual, and had a strong run to the 2020 Quarter Final with JJ Chalmers. 2021 saw her perform with McFly star Tom Fletcher, but the pair were sent home in Musicals Week and in 2022 she made it to Halloween Week with partner James Bye.

This year, Amy returns with JLS singer and presenter, JB Gill.
