Jodie Prenger

West End lady, and Let's Dance barmaid, Jodie Prenger is dancing for Comic Relief!

Jodie is best known for being the winner of where she won the chance to play the role of Nancy in the West End revival of Oliver! at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. She left Oliver! in March 2010, but reprised her role of Nancy once more, for two one-off performances in November 2010. Prior to starring as Nancy, Jodie appeared in the ensemble in Les Misérables at the Queen's Theatre in 2008, in order to gain some experience of performing in the West End.

After playing Nancy in Oliver!, Jodie went on to play the role of The Lady of the Lake in the UK tour of the hit musical Spamalot, which began performances at New Wimbledon Theatre in May 2010 and very recently starred in One Man, Two Guvnors at the Haymarket Theatre in London.

Jodie appeared on The Bigger Loser in 2006 and won the series after losing 8 stone in weight and going from a size 22 to a size 10. She has also been seen on , Lunch with Gino and Mel, Born to Shine (where she learnt to rap) and as a panellist on , as well as presenting the National Lottery Draw on Â鶹Éç1.

Other TV appearances include in , and , a drama about a group of friends who set up a female-only taxi company in a seaside town in Northern England. Jodie can also been heard on Radio 2 when she frequently sits in for Paul O'Grady when he is absent.
