Rowing: Dawson feeling the pressure of men鈥檚 four
Jacob Dawson wants a strong showing in Belgrade in the flagship British Rowing boat.
With many of the Olympic medallists moved into the men鈥檚 eight for this season, Dawson has been moved into the boat which has won gold at the last five Olympic games.
鈥淭here鈥檚 certainly an element of pressure,鈥 Dawson told 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire鈥檚 Tim Dellor. 鈥淭he boat has been the top, flagship boat for the last few years.
鈥淭he eight is the top boat this year, so in some respects it takes the pressure off a little bit.鈥
And Dawson is already looking ahead to the European Championships this year which will be raced in Glasgow.
鈥淭he Europeans are obviously in Glasgow this year, on home land.
鈥淭hey鈥檒l be fun to do.鈥
