Rowing: Shorten excited by new challenge
British Rowing鈥檚 Rebecca Shorten wants to test herself in the women鈥檚 four in Belgrade.
Shorten has been named in one of two women鈥檚 four boats for the first World Cup of the year, and is intrigued to test herself in the new event.
鈥淲e don鈥檛 have a clue, which is why it鈥檒l be good to go out there and see where we are against everyone else,鈥 Shorten told 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire鈥檚 Tim Dellor.
鈥淚t gives another world boat, whereas before it was only the eight and the pair,鈥 she continued.
And Shorten simply wants to get the competitive season under way, and then lay out priorities for the season.
鈥淲e don鈥檛 really have any priorities at the minute; it鈥檚 just seeing how World Cup 1 goes.
鈥淲e鈥檒l just see how it goes from there.鈥
