Former UKIP MEP: I鈥檇 vote for May over Nuttall
MEP Steven Woolfe, who quit UKIP in the aftermath of an alleged altercation with a party colleague, has said he would back the Conservatives in the General Election.
Asked by 麻豆社 Radio 5 live鈥檚 Emma Barnett if he would vote for Mr Nuttall or Mrs May, the independent MEP said: "I've got no choice - it would have to be Theresa May.鈥
Mr Woolfe said the party鈥檚 turn towards policies such as a proposed burka ban would 鈥減ut people off鈥 and encourage 鈥渕oderate people who believe in a patriotic Britain鈥 to vote Conservative instead.
